Skilled Carpenter

Job Overview:

Landon Dix Projects is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our construction team. We work on residential renovations and new construction, with a focus on thoughtful details and quality workmanship.

You’ll work alongside our team and other trades, while also taking responsibility for tasks independently. We’re looking for someone who can assess the work ahead, carry out a task confidently, and know when to ask questions or coordinate with others.

Responsibilities:

• Complete a range of residential carpentry work, from framing through finishing.

• Read drawings and specifications and apply them on site.

• Install doors, windows, trim, and other building components.

• Coordinate with team members and other trades to keep work moving.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of residential construction experience.

• Strong carpentry skills and the ability to complete assigned work without constant supervision.

• Good judgment, attention to detail, and pride in your workmanship.

• The ability to work well with a team and communicate clearly.

• Working knowledge of the BC Building Code and WorkSafeBC requirements.

• A valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

• The ability to perform the physical demands of construction work.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Truck preferred.
